Client: Signpost Homes A challenging 'fast-track' scheme to provide 94 student bed spaces, together with associated communal lounges and kitchens, in a typical cluster arrangement. The scheme was negotiated on a full design and build basis. Primary, and successfully overcome, challenges included:
  • site location - in a very busy part of Bournemouth
  • The building covered 90% of the total area of the site, presenting logistical challenges.
  • The removal of a number of uncharted fuel tanks and associated contamination.
