| Client: | Zazen Developments | This demanding scheme comprised the conversion on a design and build basis, of an existing city centre RC frame office building into 43 apartments, retail space and 4 new skyline apartments. The additional accommodation at roof level was designed and constructed using a hybrid steel and timber frame construction. The city centre location presented many varied planning and logistical challenges, particularly the extreme confines of the site; the existing building occupied 90% of the available space on site. |
