This project comprised the demolition of existing care home, site clearance and the design and construction of fourteen one and three- bed flats, together with associated facilities. The building provides independent living for eighteen disabled persons, with accommodation flexible from semi-ambulent to twenty-four hour assisted care. Over £250,000 of remote control equipment has been installed; all operable from wheelchair.

The building was formally opened by HRH The Princess Royal (patron of the Shaftesbury Society).
