| Client: | Raglan Housing Assn / I Sexton | This scheme comprised the design and construction of 11 flats and retail shell unit on the site of a former petrol forecourt. The site is situated within rural surroundings, with the style of the dwellings replicating similar local dwellings and agricultural buildings. The site was extensively contaminated with hydrocarbons as a result of previous use, and a water course exists to the rear of the site. Detailed liaison with both the Local Authority and Environment Agency was necessary to agree suitable contamination remediation measures, which were all undertaken without incident and strictly in accordance with the approved Method Statement. |
